Sweeney/Mansel Wedding - Marion, NC

Sweeney/Mansel Wedding

This was my first wedding of the year.  It could not have been a more beautiful day.  I am just going to let the images speak for themselves....

The Lee Family - Hickory, NC

The Lee Family

I started photographing the Lee family at the Gateway Museum but then realized that they were way too urban and cool...way too cool for that.  SOOOO we went to rustic brick and cement :).  This was the first Elin I photographed in less than 2 weeks.  She was a little doll!  6 months is by far my favorite age to photograph!

Parson Family - Hickory, NC

The Parson's Family

Oh my goodness at how stinking cute and photogenic these kids are.  The Parson's Family along with the Lee Family drove here to Marion all the way from Hickory to have their family pictures taken.  I had a field day with his fedora and her dimples!!!

Elin Newborn - Hickory, NC

Elin Newborn- 2 Weeks Young

The minute I laid eyes on this head full of hair, I almost felt ashamed that I was going to have to put hats on her.  I couldn't stop touching it lol.  Neither one of my babies had remotely close to this amount of hair.

With that being said, I drove to Hickory to photograph Miss Elin (pronounced E-Lynn, not Ellen) but she had another plan.  She wanted to stay up and play....and wide awake she stayed until 10:00 that night!!  Needless to say we had to try again.....sooooo I drove back down a few days later and this time she was a dream.  She let me do exactly what I wanted as you can see.  I love that I get to get my baby fix frequently...otherwise you never know what may happen....hehe

Hochevar Kiddies- Hendersonville, NC

Hochevar Family

The Hochevar children are just precious.  All I can do when I see these images is sing....."Magalena, Hagalena, wootcha taka...something, something"  That was the theme song of the session to make Miss Olivia smile.....it worked!

Mr. Conner is a month old and I must admit it made me a little worried because he is 2 weeks older than most newborns I work with.  Um, he had me fooled.....he slept better than almost any newborn I have ever photographed.

Yes, I admit I am super, duper behind on blogging but that is the price you pay when you are super, duper busy.  With a 40 hour a week job, full time mother, and full time photographer this blog, unfortunately is the last thing on my priority list.  I will get better...I will get better....Anyway, I am getting ready to go on one of my blogging frenzies so hold on and enjoy the ride :)

Michael --Senior Session

I was asked in August I think if I would do this gentleman's senior portraits in the snow. Since I love doing pictures in the snow I said YES! We thought we were going to have to go to the north pole to find some snow since this winter has been nothing like last BUT it finally snowed about 45 north of where we live so we went to the snow instead of it coming to us. Michael is the sweetest, most polite teenage boy I have ever come in contact with. I need to take lessons from his mama on how to raise that kind of boy :)
